Bridge to a Cool Planet is Vancouver’s Contribution to the International Day of Climate Action

Here’s the plan:
It’s peace march meets car free day: a call for action and a celebration rolled into one!
11 am:
meet Cambie Bridge NB
** Wear a costume, bring a banner or a parade float — help us create a spectacle.
12pm SHARP:
100m Banner Drop on side of the bridge. Welcome everyone, head off for a parade down Pacific Bvd.
1 -5 pm:
Eco-Party @ Science World
** 350 Salsa Dancers (Michael Rosen | Cuban Salsa Teacher)
** Eco-Bhangra Performance (Raakhi Sinha | South Asian Arts)
** Vancouver’s top Bands & DJs (led by: Jason M!G!H!)
** Green Businesses and the finest Non-profits such as Oxfam, Wilderness committee
** Kids Activities (Puppet Shows, music, etc)

7 pm:
speakers and inspirational movies at Christ Church Cathedral.
